Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the highlights of the Cantor's permanent collection as a docent leads you through a selection of works spanning varied cultures and time periods.  The center is renowned for having one of the world’s largest collections of works from famed French sculptor Auguste Rodin. Among the museum’s permanent collection are artifacts from the Leland Stanford family, photographs from Dorothea Lange and Muybridge, and paintings from European masters.  The museum, founded when the university opened in 1891, was created to make collections available to students and the public.  Lunch will be on your own at the Cantor Café at the museum which serves sandwiches, soups, salads, daily specials, and fresh desserts. This tour is designed for movie buffs who will get an inside look at where dozens of classic and recent movies were filmed. San Francisco Movie Tours captures and recreates this movie magic as you watch actual movie clips on our fun “Theater-on-Wheels” and pass locations made famous by classic and contemporary movies.
